Frequently Asked Questions

Can I stack multiple audio effects and control their order?

Yes, you can add as many effects as you want and reorder them freely. Effects are processed from top to bottom in the chain, so applying reverb before distortion produces a different result than distortion before reverb. Experiment with the order to achieve your desired sound.

What is the difference between the Speed and Pitch Shift effects?

The Speed effect changes both tempo and pitch together, similar to playing a vinyl record faster or slower. Pitch Shift changes only the pitch while maintaining the original duration, letting you make a voice sound higher or lower without altering the playback speed.

Are my audio files uploaded to a server for processing?

No, all effect processing happens entirely in your browser using the Web Audio API. Your audio files never leave your device. Only the background music presets are loaded from our server when you select them.

What audio format is the output file?

The output is a high-quality WAV file (16-bit PCM) at the original sample rate. WAV is lossless, so no quality is lost during export. If you need a smaller MP3 file, use our Audio Converter tool afterward.

How does the equalizer effect work?

The equalizer lets you boost or cut specific frequency ranges: bass (low frequencies), midrange, and treble (high frequencies). This is useful for making vocals clearer, adding warmth to music, or reducing harshness in recordings.
